One year married. One year journey and full of surprise in our first year as husband and wife. There is so much emotions, characters, and attitude that we learn from each other. Not always fun, sweet and happy of course, but we can go trough this together as a team. First year of marriage is a phase when we get to know each other and learn to compromise our individuals habits. And I can say that we’ve passed it very well.
Our journey is started when I move to Balikpapan with my husband right after honeymoon. We stayed in Balikpapan for about 7 months until my husband’s base work is moved to Jakarta, shorter and also couple years faster than we’ve planned. So here we are now, back to Pulau Jawa, nearer to our hometown and families. Whether to stay for while or settle, we don’t know yet.
In this first year journey, I also had my first pregnancy. It’s so magical how beautiful things come so fast for us, beyond our plan, more than we want. I was pregnant after 3 months married, and gave birth a baby girl at March 21st 2019, about 3 weeks before our first anniversary. It’s such a blissful gift for us to celebrate our anniversary by the presence of a child into our little family.
So this post is like a collage that represent and picturing our life for the last 15 months of our journey as a married couple, until we have this beautiful baby girl as our child.
First ones are pictures from our honeymoon in Bali. We stayed in Anahata Villas Resort, Ubud. We also stayed in Seminyak, but unfortunately we didn’t take any pictures.

Second ones are taken when we took holiday in Bandung right after I was positively pregnant. We went from our parent’s house after Ied Mubarak. So we can tell that my pregnancy was like a gift from Allah after Ramadhan :).
First trimester of pregnancy, walked some distance while had bad cough :). We went to Orchid Forest, Farm House, Creative HUB building, and Alun-alun Bandung.

Last ones are pictures when we were in Balikpapan till we moved to Jakarta. The funny thing is, I didn’t have baby bump as big as other people, except in my third trimester pregnancy. And it happened when we officially move to Jakarta, until she is born :).
